Azeron Cyro Controller Overview

The Azeron Cyro controller is a game controller for individuals who can only access a controller with one hand. The device consists of an analog joystick that the user accesses with their thumb, a sensor on the bottom for controlling the cursor, and a keypad for accessing the different buttons in the game. The controls can be mapped and customized based on the user’s needs. This controller will allow the user to access all the joysticks and buttons they need to play all types of games using a single hand. By default, the Azeron Cyro acts as a keyboard and mouse for computer gaming. However, it can also be used for console gaming when using an adapter like the KeyMander 2 adapter. Please see the video above for an overview of the Azeron Cyro controller.

Ordering

The Azeron Cyro comes in both left- and right-handed versions, based on which hand the user is able to access the controller with. There are also different sizes based on the size of the user’s hands. Adjustments can be made to the controller after purchasing to change the keypad and joystick positioning to optimize set-up for the user. The Azeron Cyro can be purchased from Azeron’s website.

Getting Started

The positioning of the keypad and joystick can be adjusted on the Azeron Cyro using a small screwdriver that comes with the device. Make adjustments to provide the most comfort for the user with optimal positioning of the hand over the thumb stick and keypad.

The joystick and buttons on the Azeron Cyro can be mapped to any keyboard or mouse commands to optimize the button layout for the game that the user is playing. Multiple profiles with different button layouts can be put on the Azeron Cyro which the user can switch between. The Azeron Software will allow the user to map buttons and create different profiles. Download the software onto a computer and plug the Azeron Cyro into the USB port to make changes. See the Azeron Software user manual for directions on how to program the device. Watch the video at the top of the page for an overview of programming the Azeron Cyro.

PLAYING ON A CONSOLE

By default, the Azeron Cyro will work as a keyboard and mouse for computer gaming. If the user desires to play on a console, they will need to get an adapter such as the KeyMander 2. The KeyMander 2 will convert the mouse and keyboard functions into joystick and button commands on the console. The thumb joystick will be converted to left joystick movement, the mouse movement will be converted to right joystick movement, and the keyboard buttons will be converted to buttons on the controller. To see which mouse and keyboard functions map to which controls in the game, refer to page 28 of the KeyMander 2 user manual. For directions on how to set up the KeyMander 2 for a specific console, refer to the KeyMander 2 user manual. The KeyMander 2 will work for most consoles, other than the PlayStation 5 console. For the Playstation 5, the Besavior adapter will also need to be purchased. Please see the video at the top of the page for an overview on how to set up the Azeron Cyro on a console using the KeyMander 2 adapter.
